I sympathise with your pain, Kirsty...

For me, I am not a huge fan of phone calls, but honestly, they only help NTs the most and non-profit workplace training organisations for Disabled and Autistic folks are doing a huge disservice for Disabled folks and for us because they claim that they want to help us with phone calls and with other employment skills, but do not actually give a single care about our well-being and how we actually feel about phone calls.

You have a frank point that the ableist phone call circus (an incredibly fitting depiction, Kirsty, and I truly applaud you for it /positive /sincere) needs to stop because it will not stop and will keep going unless plenty of Autistic and Disabled folks online band together in solidarity and take the circus down from the inside out.
