Excellent article, Sarah!

I still have some difficult time with who I can trust to talk to about my Autistic self and with who I cannot trust because of the public's intent to keep generating misinformation about Autistic people as people, and this article reminds me when I had an ex-boyfriend's little sister told me that I don't "look" Autistic after I told her that I am Autistic.

To be frank, this is also one example of a microaggression against an Autistic person who doesn't fit into false stereotypes like society expects them to be.
